Bond Coater with Bitumen Joint sealer for Colas Ireland

We are going back to late February to share this Bond Coater - Bitumen Joint sealer that we built for Colas Ireland.

This machine features an 8,000 litre Emulsion tank, an updated Bitumen Melter with super insulated walls supplying a joint sealer arm on the driver’s side of the truck, all mounted on a customer supplied truck that has been repurposed into a modern tack coat sprayer. 

This machine will be used in asphalt pavement construction to both apply the bond coat between each layer of asphalt and to seal the joints /edges of the asphalt safely.

Details:

  • 8,000L emulsion and 300L bitumen capacity.

  • 4.2m expandable spray bar with automatic flow rate and pressure control.

  • Updated Bitumen Melter with Super insulated walls reducing heating times.

  • Bitumen edge / joint sealer spray bar on the driver’s side of the machine fully controlled from the cab.

  • Full In-cab controls.
